This was Jennifer's first overnight
camp experience,
and by all accounts, our adorable ten-year-old loved it.
Standing in front of beautiful
Fairview Lake in the heart of the Pocono
Mountains,
Susan, Jennifer, and her cousin
Barbara enjoy the sun and cool breeze.
While my scanner didn't allow for
the complete photograph to be shown,
this is most of the Camp Oneka
family in the summer of 1981.
Jennifer is in the first row,
front and center.
You'll find her cousin, Barbara,
on the third row up, seventh camper
from the left.
Camp Oneka was founded in 1908 and
is still going strong.
